A Note from Our Principal

Summer is in full swing, and we are soaking up all the seasonal fun! From spending time outdoors and having fun with water to playing games with friends and participating in new learning experiences, we’re creating a summer to remember! We can’t wait to see what the rest of summer holds for us.

Sincerely,

Jessica Sandstrom

Family Referral Bonus & Open House

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open House on Saturday, August 3rd. When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

Recess with Heat in Mind

We wanted to take a moment to mention our outdoor safety plan with regards to higher temperature that we see in the summertime.  If the temperature is between 80-89 degrees, we will only be taking the children outside for 15 minutes.  90 degrees and above we will stay inside and enjoy indoor recess activities such as tumbling, parachute, music, active games and other movement based activities to get those wiggles out.

We are typically able to go our for the full 30 minute recess time in the morning while it is still relatively cool, then we monitor the temperature for afternoon recess.

Sun Protection Reminders

Sunny days are so much fun! Please continue to send your child to school with their sunscreen already applied before drop-off.  It’s a good idea to send a sun hat as well. For the safety of our students, we ask that they always wear closed-toe shoes. Thank you for your partnership in creating a safe summer!

Be sure to send a water bottle labeled with your child’s name every day.  We find many water bottles at the end of the day without names and we would love to be able to help them find their owners!
