Dear Evergreen Academy Montessori Families,
Spring has finally arrived, and we want to make sure all our students can take full advantage of our outdoor play spaces. We are enjoying our play time and delighted with the great weather we have been having. All our teachers love planning outdoor games, lessons, and picnics to celebrate spring.
Last week your child came home with a wonderful piece of art. Every year we partner with Art to Remember as way for families to commemorate their child’s year with a keepsake! Don’t forget to check out all the fun things you can get. This is always great timing for grandparent gifts too!
Week of the Young Child is April 12th-16th. We have many fun activities planned all week. Teachers will share these events through Links2Home.
Our classes will be celebrating Earth Day on April 22nd. Keep your fingers crossed that our butterflies will be ready for release! We look forward to sharing photos and capturing this exciting moment.
Lifetouch Photographers will be providing annual spring pictures for our families this month. Individual school pictures are planned for Wednesday and Thursday April 28th and 29th. We will share with you when your classroom is being photographed. We will not be able to provide classroom photos this year, but with over 20 siblings in our school we are working to (hopefully) coordinate this for these families. Stay tuned for your child(ren)’s assigned day. Primary Montessori families: you are able to decide if you prefer your child to be in uniform or not for spring photos.
Lastly, Summer Camp registration for our Primary Montessori students is currently underway. We hope that your child(ren) will be joining us!
